DAR members take gifts to veterans at VA hospital

Throughout each year, Colorado Daughters across the state sponsor and celebrate many events. Daughters participate in parades, often in historical costume, to commemorate holidays including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Veterans Day.

 

Constitution Week, September 17 - 23, is always celebrated in the Denver metropolitan area with a luncheon featuring an expert on the Constitution.

 

DAR chapters also recognize hospitalized veterans with gifts and parties during the Christmas season.
